Founded by
Asesh Sarkar
Asesh is a global thought leader in inclusive finance and capitalism. With a background in management consulting, Asesh rose to become the youngest partner in the financial services practice at PA Consulting. He then founded Salary Finance, growing it from an initial idea to a global platform supporting the financial health of over 25 million working people, raising over a billion dollars in capital along the way.
Asesh has served as an advisor to the board of the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), the arm's length government advisory body, and as the chair of MyBnk, the UK's leading financial education charity for young people. His educational background includes a degree in Computing and Business from Warwick University, and he has been a guest speaker at Harvard Business School.
Through his work with Co-Owned, Asesh aims to revolutionise the relationship between businesses and their customers, creating a less extreme and more sustainable form of capitalism, fit for the digital age and for the common good.
